The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has formally opened the 2025 application system.
Applications are now open and can shut on 15 December 2024.

To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant should fulfill the following criteria:
• Be considered a South African citizen or copyright who comes from a home having a combined gross domestic income that doesn't exceed R350 000 for each annum.
• People with disabilities qualify if their combined household earnings would not exceed R600 000 per annum.
• SASSA recipients instantly qualify for funding and want not post any evidence of income.
*** Loan Scheme for the Missing Middle
The NSFAS Loan Scheme for the missing middle is open up to all South African click here citizens and permanent inhabitants from homes with combined R350 000 and R600 000 for every annum.
